We also are aware that every crokinole player has their own way to play crokinole; some with cues, and some with just their fingers. Just the same - some players need the traditional coloured pieces, and others will opt for their favourite colour to play with. The decision is yours!
How durable are the pieces you are wondering? To begin with, they are built with hard Canadian maple wood. This ensures that they won't dent when played during many hours of crokinole.
We sell the playing pieces in packs of 13. Twelve discs are played with by each team in the game – and we give you an extra one in case you lose one! If you are going to play doubles – then you will need two different colours of pieces.
Here's one more thing for those of who you enjoy the holidays – why not opt for a pack of red and green buttons to set out with the crokinole board at Christmas. Or possibly some yellow and pink pieces for Easter. The options never end!
Are you looking for a way to organize your discs? We also have the crokinole playing pieces drawstring bag. You will never lose your buttons again, as they will be put safely in the handcrafted bag.
