How durable are the discs you are wondering? To begin with, they are manufactured with hard Canadian maple wood. This ensures that they will not dent when played during endless hours of crokinole playing.
We distribute the discs in packs of 13. Twelve discs are used by each team in the game – and we provide an extra one just in case! If you usually play doubles – then you will need two different colours of buttons.
Another idea for those of who you enjoy the holidays – why not acquire a pack of red and green buttons to use with the crokinole board at Christmas time. Or possibly some yellow and pink playing pieces for Easter. The options go on and on!
How about a method to store your pieces? We also have the crokinole discs drawstring bag. You won't misplace your pieces again, as they will be placed safely in the handcrafted bag. The drawstring bag is large enough to keep a small jar of wax as well as two sets of playing pieces. A great method to keep all of your crokinole game supplies in one spot.
