We also are aware that each crokinole player has their own way to enjoy the game; some with cues, and some with just their fingers. Either way - some people need the traditional coloured buttons, and others will grab their favourite colour to play with. The choice is yours!
How strong are the discs you wonder? To start, they are created with hard Canadian maple wood. This ensures that they will not dent when enjoyed during many hours of playing.
We provide the buttons in packs of 13. Twelve discs are used by each team in the game – and we supply an extra one just in case! If you mostly play doubles – then you will want two different colours of playing pieces.
Here's one more idea for those of who you enjoy the holidays – why not order a pack of red and green buttons to enjoy with the crokinole board during Christmas time. Or possibly some yellow and pink discs for Easter. The options really are endless!
