World Crokinole Championships Official Board
If you found us after watching footage from the World Crokinole Championships, you were watching Crokinole at its highest possible level. The best players in the world, competing under pressure, with no room for inconsistency — every single one of those championship games is played on a Tracey Crokinole Board.
Tracey Boards is the official board builder of the World Crokinole Championships, a responsibility that carries real weight. At that level, boards aren’t chosen for looks, branding, or convenience. They’re chosen because they perform — every time.
A Crokinole Board Passed Down, Not Figured Out on the Fly

Tracey Boards didn’t appear out of nowhere, and our role at the World Championships wasn’t random — it was earned.
Before us, the standard for championship play was set by Willard Martin, a name synonymous with excellence in Crokinole board building. Board building has been in Willard’s family since 1970, starting with Willard’s father Manasseh Martin. From 1990-1993 Willard was trained by his father before taking over the new family tradition completely, which he carried on for nearly 30 years. During that time, Willard became the official board builder for the World Crokinole Championships, due to his boards’ esteemed and unmatched quality.
When Willard stepped away, the torch didn’t fall. It was passed. Downstairs in his basement shop is where Willard trained Jeremy — our owner & founder — on how to build world-class Crokinole boards. And in 2018, the torch of the Willard Pro Board was passed on to become the Tracey Tour Board.

That lineage matters. It means the boards used today at the World Crokinole Championships aren’t a departure from tradition — they are its continuation.
Every board we make and ship has Willard’s fingerprints on it. So when it’s your turn, remember you’re a part of the great legacy that Willard passed down to us.
What “Official Board Builder” Really Means
Being the official board builder isn’t a sponsorship badge or a marketing arrangement. It means the championship itself depends on our work.
Every surface must play the same as the next. Every peg placement must be exact. Every board must perform consistently not just for one match, but across thousands of shots, over multiple days, under constant use.
Every line needs to be exactly the same as the next. Each board must perform smoothly and consistently. When people come to the World Crokinole Championships, they expect the best crokinole playing experience, which is what we deliver, every year.
At the World Championships, players don’t lose because of a slow spot, a dead zone, or an unpredictable rebound. They win — or lose — because of skill alone. That’s the environment these boards are built for.
Built by World Crokinole Championships Winners
The Tracey family doesn’t just build crokinole boards; we play the game. A lot. If you want a board you know you can trust, get a board from people who truly understand the game – for us, the proof is in the pudding.
In 2019, Reid & Nolan Tracey, the sons of Jeremy Tracey and Board Builders for the business, placed 2nd in the World Crokinole Doubles. They also placed 3rd in World Doubles in 2023. Then, from 2023-2024, Jeremy Tracey finished within the top four of the World Crokinole Doubles Division: 2nd in 2023 alongside 2-time World Champion Connor Reinman, and 3rd in 2024 alongside Andrew Hutchinson.
Finally, in 2025, Jeremy Tracey & Andrew Hutchinson won the World Crokinole Championship Doubles, a first time World Crokinole title for both of the players. For Jeremy, this was a lifetime of playing crokinole, 9 years of playing crokinole competitively, and 7 years of building boards professionally, all leading to his victory on the world stage.

The point is, we love and care about the game, which means our standards are that much higher when it comes to what leaves our shop. If we wouldn’t play on a board, it doesn’t leave our doors. Get the board that’s built for World Champions, by World Champions.
Why Players of All Skill Levels Want to Play on a Championship Board
It’s easy to assume that championship boards are only for elite players. In reality, the opposite is true.
A great board doesn’t demand a certain skill level — it supports every stage of learning, and every level of play.
Beginners benefit because the board is honest. Shots behave predictably, speed control makes sense, and good habits form naturally. Casual players love the board because its playability ensures that the game doesn’t end up tucked in the back of a closet somewhere, but broken out at every games night for a simple game everyone can enjoy.
Intermediate players improve faster because consistency allows real strategy and refinement. Advanced and competitive players value knowing that their practice environment mirrors tournament conditions exactly.
The experience of playing on world-class boards isn’t reserved for tournament halls. It belongs in homes, cottages, clubs, and game rooms — wherever Crokinole is played seriously or joyfully.
If You’ve Seen the Best, Play on the Same Standard

Watching the World Crokinole Championships shows what the game looks like when everything is done right. Playing on a Tracey Board lets you experience that same standard every time you flick a disc — whether you’re chasing improvement, competition, or simply a great night around the board.
Built on the knowledge of the best who came before

That’s why Tracey Boards are used at the World Crokinole Championships.
And that’s why players of every skill level choose them for home.
