Meet the Team! The Faces Behind Tracey Crokinole Boards
With a huge spike in followers and a more active blog, we wanted to take the time to introduce everyone viewing our channels to the Tracey Boards team! What some people don’t know is that Tracey Boards is a small, local, family-run business, with a team dedicated to spreading crokinole around the world. We posted introductions on our socials, but realized it can be tedious to scroll back to see each individual introduction; so, here’s the whole team in one blog post!
Jeremy Tracey: the CEO of Tracey Boards
lets start with the head of operations: Jeremy Tracey! Jeremy is the founder and CEO of Tracey Boards. Taught by Willard Martin, the board builder for the World Crokinole Championship, Jeremy has carried on with the legacy of making the “gold standard” for crokinole boards around the world. With the torch passed from Willard to Jeremy, Tracey Boards is now the official board builder for the World Championships. What started with Jeremy building boards in the basement has now become a family dynasty, with Jeremy taking the lead on major business decisions. Being a high level competitor in the crokinole world (currently ranked 8th in the National Crokinole Association), Jeremy’s guarantee for boards is “If I wouldn’t enjoy playing on it, the board doesn’t leave the shop”
Elaine Tracey: The REAL Boss
Meet the REAL boss of Tracey Boards, Elaine! Helping with business planning and book keeping, Elaine is most often seen alongside Jeremy at conventions, running the booth and helping out everyone who comes by looking to learn more about the greatest game on earth! While Elaine doesn’t compete, she sometimes can be seen playing crokinole while teaching new players how to play.
Reid Tracey: Shop Manager
Reid Tracey, the oldest of the Tracey Brothers, is the shop manager at Tracey Boards! Reid is in charge of the manufacturing of boards and some of the accessories. Including supplier relations, and specific jobs such as waxing, pegging boards, and final inspections, Reid is the man responsible for bringing you the highest quality boards around. Reid is also a high level crokinole player- He placed 2nd in the 2023 US Open with Jeremy Tracey, and 2nd in the 2019 World Crokinole Championship Doubles alongside Nolan. Currently, he is competing in the Crokinole cup and onto the Quarterfinal round!
Garret Tracey: Social Media Manager
Our social media manager is Garret, the second son of the Tracey Family. If you see a post about crokinole from a Tracey Boards social account, Garret is most likely the man behind it. Being responsible for content curation, Garret manages the socials, the newsletter, blogs, and video content including tournament coverage. Garret is also proficient at crokinole: He placed 4th at the Scenic City Crokinole Classic with Nathan Walsh, then won the Maryland Crokinole Championship with Jeremy Tracey!
Nolan Tracey: Office Administrator
Nolan is the youngest in the Tracey family, and he’s our office guy (or office administrator, if you want to get technical). Nolan is the man behind order fulfilment, making sure customers have the best experience possible ordering from Tracey Boards. From shipping paper work, to rule clarification, and working with our affiliate clubs, Nolan’s biggest goal as of now is to “refine the fulfillment processes to run smoothly, leaving us with enough bandwidth to give each customer and order the attention they deserve”. Nolan is also a top level crokinole player: He placed 2nd in the 2019 World Doubles Championship, and 4th in the 2024 Frosty Flick Crokinole Tournament!
As a team, our goal is to give you the best crokinole experience possible, from the play itself, to learning about the game, and keeping in the loop on what’s happening in the crokinole world.
